Hawkman
Toy Line:  Batman Total Justice Series 2 (1996)
Accessories:  Hawk God Armor
Action Feature:  None
Did I own this?  Yes
Great toy from a little known line of toys.  The modeling and sculpting of this figure was superb and once you put all the armor on, it became a very intimidating toy.  I never did understand why Hawkman would need such a large piece of body armor to protect himself.  Overall great toy, however it loses points for the unnecessary body armor accessories that came with it.

The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase
Toy Line:  Hasbro WWF Action Figures Series 2 (1992)
Accessories:  The Million Dollar Belt
Action Feature:  The Million Dollar Punch
Did I own it?  Yes
The old Hasbro line of action figures was great.  They featured hard plastic bodies that were hard to break, which was perfect for kids who wanted to reenact their favorite wrestling matches with these toys and not worry about breaking them.  The Million Dollar Belt had a nice design to it.  The Million Dollar Punch action feature was a cute little add on as well.  Overall solid toy.

Wolverine
Toy Line:  X-Men Series 1 (1991)
Did I own it?  Yes
My very first X-Men action figure was this sweet Wolverine toy from Toy Biz’s X-Men line.  This toy came with a removable mask and a katana sword (?) and had retractable plastic claws.  Overall solid toy which opened the door for me to get more Toy Biz X-Men action figures

Toy Line:  He-Man and the Masters of the Universe Series 4 1985
Did I own this?  Yes
Who the hell thought of this concept for a character.  This was a weird toy I had from my youth that I never really liked.  Like the other He-Man toys I had, the arms and legs would break off easily on this guy.  I don’t remember what happened to him though.  I think once his legs broke off I buried somewhere in my grandma’s front yard.  Or threw him away.

Toy Line:  Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Basic Series (1989)
Did I own this?  Yes
The first toy I am picking is the most badass human from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Casey Jones.  He came with a golf bag that had a golf club and two baseball bats, yet he didn’t come with the one accessory that made him famous, a hockey stick.  Like the other toys in the Ninja Turtles set, it was made of solid plastic with a nice, sturdy build.  This toy survived several drops without a scratch.

Who doesn’t love toys?  When I was a kid, I had a lot of toys ranging from Batman action figures to toy train sets to Legos.  I recently found a box full of some of the toys I had as a youth and I felt a little nostalgic.  I’d like to share with you guys and gals out in the world a peek at some of the toys I had as a youth.  Hope you enjoy.
